Dealer FAQ’s.

No. Warrantywise’s dealer warranty plan is a service and maintenance plan which means it sits outside of the FCA’s remit. Therefore there are no FCA exams to take or FCA regulations to follow.

No, you don’t have to have a car inspected before purchasing a plan.

It’s good practice to service a car before you sell it. However, if the car has an up-to-date service history you don’t necessarily need to service the car before we put a warranty plan on it. However, if the car you are selling doesn’t have evidence that the last service was performed at the correct time, then you will need to service the car according to the manufacturer’s recommendations before the warranty plan can commence. Please refer to Section G in your plan book – ‘Servicing your vehicle’ for full details.

All Warrantywise plans come with a no question 14 day money back guarantee. You can cancel the plan at any time within the first 14 days and providing you have not requested that we meet the cost of any repairs, we will cancel the plan and refund your payment without deduction.

No, we issue all plan documents directly from our head office. Once the plan is booked on the portal, we take care of sending all the necessary information directly to the customer so you don’t have to. However is you choose to, there is an option to print a summary of the plan for your customer to retain, ensuring convenience and ease of access to important details.

If your customer needs to pay for a hire car, because their vehicle is off the road with a valid warranty repair, they can be reimbursed up to the amount of £75 (inc VAT) per day for up 10 days for car hire.

Price Promise

Our Price Promise applies to any plan level you have been quoted for, where the plan level is identical (“like-for-like”). If a like-for-like comparison cannot be made, we will issue a bespoke quotation based on your needs, which we guarantee will be the most competitive price and plan we offer at that time.

To activate our Price Promise, proof of an active comparative quote (dated within the previous 30 days) is required. We do not match exclusive or restricted discounts (e.g., student, NHS, blue-light). Warrantywise reserves the right to refuse a price match where fraud or unauthorised reseller activity is suspected.

All warranty plans are governed by the details set out within the warranty plan documents. Warrantywise reserves the right to change or withdraw the ‘Price Promise’ without notice. Please contact our warranty specialists to activate the ‘Price Promise’.
